Accommodation, Meals and Local Information

Three nights accommodation and full board meals (Wednesday dinner until Saturday breakfast) will be provided on campus for all conference delegates. The conference will take place in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and accommodation will be provided in McIntosh Hall.

Getting Here

The conference starts at 4pm on Wednesday in the hope that this will give everyone enough time to travel to St Andrews on Wednesday. For instance, there is a train from Edinburgh arriving at Leuchars (nearest train station) at 3.11pm which is plenty of time to get to St Andrews for 4pm, e.g. by bus.

  • Map of the town
  • Map of the University. On this map, you can find the bus station (A) and McIntosh Hall (20) at G2. The Maths Department (15) is at E3.

For those who would like to stay on after the conference to explore St Andrews and the surrounding area further, we recommend the St Andrews Tourist Hostel which is located in the centre of town and offers very good value for money by St Andrews standards. We strongly advise to book early since affordable accommodation in this popular tourist destination is in very short supply.
